We are designed to create - there is really nothing else we can do.

The question is how meaningful, uplifting or noble are our creations? The tiniest thought can be said to be a creation in its' own right, and every moment is an opportunity to bring into existence more complex renditions and energy compositions into the cosmic cornucopia. All art forms, I believe, are identical, in that the goal is to achieve a sophisticated composition that transcend the materials and building blocks. For a painter, it is the pigments that flesh out the form. For a dancer, it is the grace of gesture and motion with which the composition is made. For a musician, it is elements like cadence, timbre and pitch that are the components of their work. And, so on.

I find this notion fascinating and the more I contemplate, the more I agree that all the crafts and creative forms are interchangeable at a fundamental level.
